olo Wedding Singer and Corporate Entertainer
As a wedding singer what do you offer?
As 'The Wedding Singer' I can offer not only singing but DJ mixes for your wedding reception anyware in the UK.. Packages range from a simple Standard Package wth an evening cabaret solo singer. Up grade to the Gold Package by adding the DJ service or maybe the Platinum Package giving you a complete music and PA service for the whole day. For more details go to the services page I am based in Cambridgeshire but I am available throughout the UK.
What kind of songs do you sing?
A typical evenings vocal set contains a mixture of popular rock, pop, disco and soul songs. I ensure that there is something for people of all ages. The main aim of both the evening singing and DJ sections is to try and get as many people up on to the dance floor as possible and to provide a musically exciting and varied evening for everyone.
Music during dinner consists of a selection of the finest Dinner Jazz, Swing, Easy Listening and Love Songs. Unobtrusive background music creating a perfect dining ambience.
What about the disco?
The disco, manned by myself, which accompanies my live singing sets, features an extensive song library including a mixture of the best chart, pop, disco, soul and rock music of the last 40 years. Having the disco as part of your wedding music package saves the hassle of hiring and dealing with a separate wedding DJ and means only one set of sound equipment at your reception; especially suitable for small, medium-sized and large venues.
I have been a professional solo singer for nearly 18 years and 25 years in the entertainment industry as aentertainment manager and compere so I can be considered as an experienced wedding entertainer. Whilst being old enough to be remember the pop greats I also know what the latest music trends are it's my job to know, I have learned exactly which tune to put on at the right time to get all generations up onto the dance floor - surely what wedding parties are all about! Also if you have a particular song request, if it's out there I can get it.
How can I hear you?
There are a selection of recently recorded tracks on the media page. Whilst I perform regularly in different areas most are private events there maybe an instance where you are able to attend if you request it. I have a number of past customers and venues that are happy to be contacted to act as references and answer any questions you may have about any aspect of the service.

Simply head to the Contacts page and fill in the booking enquiry form provided. I will then contact you with a quotation and, at your approval, dispatch a booking pack containing a CD demo and further information.
Can guests get up and sing?
Generally no, however I am flexible if enough notice is given and anyone wishes to sing to the bride or groom but I still reserve the right to refuse If i feel it is not in the spirit of the event.
Why are you cheaper than other wedding singers?
An increasing number of wedding entertainers are offering similar services have appeared in the last couple of years. Many quote £700 - £1000 for an evening's music - singer & DJ. This is usually due the fact that you are paying for a separate singer and DJ to come and entertain you on the day, both bringing their own PA and lighting systems along with them. This also usually means that you will either deal with the singer or the DJ as two separate entities - or even worse, deal with an agent who won't be there on the day!
Being experienced in both singing and DJ-ing, I am able to bring just one set of equipment on the day that incorporates all the specialist PA equipment that a singer requires as well as the latest DJ gear including all the latest lighting equipment that you would expect a top DJ to have..
